Summary: For this subcontracted project, Yuetan was challenged with filling over an inclined land to reach 50cm higher than the road surface. Osaka was called to tackle this problem. Our solution, was to fill one end with 3m height of unwanted but qualified base material to reach 50cm lower from road surface level. We allowed for construction of concrete retaining wall of 4m high. We then imported Gravel material of 40cm, cemented it and stabilized it to receive pavement we achieved companion tests of 99%.
