Construction of Roadworks and Base for Pressure Station
Osaka Construction Company Ltd was subcontracted by China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau (CPP) to carry out earthworks in preparation for the construction of a gas pressure station in Somanga, Lindi. This project is categorized under Earthworks and Site Preparation for Industrial Infrastructure, involving extensive land.
We supplied ,laid and compacted over 5 acres of
land with suitable fill material excavated and transported from
nearby location in order to make a base for construction of Gas
Pressure station from CPP. stabilization and compaction activities to support future structural development.
Our Process to Execute This Project
he scope of work included the excavation, transportation, and placement of suitable fill material over more than five acres of land. The project began with a site assessment to determine the appropriate compaction and grading requirements. Quality fill materials were excavated from a nearby approved site and transported to the project location. These materials were then laid in multiple layers, each compacted using heavy machinery to achieve the required density and stability. Final grading and leveling were completed to meet engineering and drainage specifications.
Project Results
The work was completed within the scheduled time frame, and the site was handed over in a fully prepared state, ready for CPP to begin construction of the pressure station. The project met all quality and safety standards, and the final results provided a stable and well-compacted base for critical gas infrastructure.
